Moon Practice – Medicine for the Modern Mind
Moon Practice is a deep, nourishing, and sometimes challenging Asana practice designed to bring stability and calm to both body and mind. With longer holds, a grounding sequence of standing poses and floor work, and a focus on conscious, extended exhalations, this practice guides your awareness inward—toward that pure, still space beyond thought. Rooted in Tantric Hatha tradition, Moon Practice forms the foundation for all other Tantric Hatha practices. Always carry the Moon with you.
What’s Included in Moon Practice:
Forward folds and twists
Breathwork focused on lengthening the exhalation
Gentle activation of Mulabandha (Root Lock)
Longer posture holds to encourage physical and mental steadiness
Moon Practice is ideal if you:
Lead a busy life or have a busy mind
Feel anxious or ungrounded
Want to cultivate stability and calm
Experience difficulty sleeping or digesting
Find yourself quick to anger or easily unsettled
Feel overheated—physically or mentally
Wish to deepen concentration or meditation
Have postural imbalances or spinal issues
Sun Practice – Awakening Your Inner Power
Sun Practice focuses on energy management and deepening your connection to Prana—the life force that sustains all living beings. More dynamic than Moon Practice, the Solar path balances strength and sensitivity: building the vitality we need to excel while refining our awareness to touch subtler realms of experience. Through chest- and heart-opening Asanas, breathwork that expands the inhalation, and the introduction of advanced Tantric techniques such as Bandhas and Mudras, Sun Practice increases the body’s vitality, radiance, and energetic capacity.
What’s Included in Sun Practice:
Backbends, lateral stretches, Namaskars (Salutations), and conscious Vinyasa
Breathwork focused on strengthening the inhalation
Introduction to Kumbhaka (breath retention)
Introduction to Bandhas and Mudras
Sun Practice is ideal if you:
Feel stagnant, low in energy, sad, or depressed
Want to feel more positive and uplifted
Have poor circulation or low immunity
Are ready to begin working on a deeper energetic level
Already feel mentally grounded, stable, and calm
Fire Practice – Igniting Transformation
Fire Practice draws on every element of the Tantric path, blending Asana with deeper work in Bandha, Mudra, and Mantra to still the mind, build energy, dissolve limitations, and safely awaken our dormant spiritual power—Kundalini Shakti. This awakened force is then transformed into Prana Shakti, the essence of our highest potential. While the physical challenge intensifies with the inclusion of extensions and inversions, the true focus lies in cultivating an inner ‘heat’ at the navel. This heat is then channelled upward, directing awakened Prana into the spine—considered the pathway to the infinite—leading to meditative absorption in the higher spiritual centres, especially the heart.
What’s Included in Fire Practice:
All asana categories, including inversions and extensions
Complementary Tantric techniques: Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra, Mantra, and Meditation
Breathwork to deepen both inhalation and exhalation
Uniting inhalation (Prana) and exhalation (Apana) at the navel to ignite the yogic fire of transformation (Agni)
Fire Practice is ideal if you:
Are physically and mentally balanced
Feel stable, calm, and grounded
Have already developed a relationship with Prana
Maintain a committed daily practice
Approach Yoga as a spiritual path
‘We are only as good as the amount of prana we have access to and are able to skilfully wield. Indeed, tantra is the science of energy management.’
One-on-one training with the teacher as they did back in the ancient days where the student will be taught a sequence of asana, pranayama and tantric Kriya meditation. The student will then take home details on the sequence to continue practicing and encouraged to complete a 40 day sadhana. A comprehensive Tantric Hatha Yoga Manual is also given to equip the student further. The goal is to make aspiring yogis independent as quick as possible so they can prescribe a yogic sequence for themselves or others when the need arrises.

In ancient times, yoga techniques were kept secret and never written down or exposed to public view. They were passed on from teacher to disciple by word of mouth. In this way there was a clear understanding of their meaning and the practices stayed in the hands of those who were worthy.
Because the scope of tantra is so vast and multifaceted, at a certain point in history the entire science was categorised into three distinct schools and two specific paths within those schools.
